Issued 3:00 AM ADT 13 March 2026 Today Tonight and Saturday At 3:00 a.m. ADT today trough located on a line northeast-southwestover the central Marine District.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight departing trough located east of the
Grand Banks.
At 3:00 a.m. ADT Saturday low 999 mb located over southern Ontario.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Saturday low 1000 mb located over eastern Nova
Scotia.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 2:49 AM ADT 13 March 2026 A trough of low pressure over the central marine district thismorning will move eastward across eastern waters today. Strong to
gale force southerlies ahead of the trough will shift to strong to
gale force westerlies in its wake.
A second trough of low pressure will approach the region from the
west on Saturday. Strong to gale force southeasterlies ahead of this
low will shift to strong to gale force westerlies in the wake of the
low Saturday evening.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except for Fundy, Grand Manan, Lurcher, Browns Bank,
southwestern shore, Northumberland Strait, Chaleur - Miscou - western
half, and Anticosti - northern half.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Cabot Strait - northern half and all Gulf of St. Lawrence
waters except Northumberland Strait.
