By 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight ridge located from Anticosti Island to
the Grand Banks.
At 3:30 p.m. ADT today low 1001 mb located south of Long Island.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Friday low 1003 mb located near Grand Manan.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:54 AM ADT 22 May 2025 A low pressure system will approach the marine district from thesouthwest today and pass Cape Cod tonight to lie near Grand Manan
late in the day Friday. Strong to gale force easterly winds will
develop ahead of the low beginning this evening.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Fundy, Northumberland Strait, Chaleur - Miscou, and
Anticosti.
