Issued 2:33 AM ADT 12 April 2026 A low pressure system over Western Newfoundland will continue to pullaway from the marine district with a building ridge behind. Strong to
gale force northwesterlies will continue over eastern waters today in
the wake of the low.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Fourchu, Banquereau, Laurentian Fan, Cabot Strait, Gulf-Magdalen -
northeastern half, and Anticosti.
