the Gulf of Maine to East Scotian Slope.
Marine Weather StatementIssued 9:26 AM ADT 16 April 2021 A trough of low pressure will approach from the west today and move
slowly across the southern marine district later today and tonight
before gradually weakening on Saturday. Strong to gale force easterly
winds are expected ahead and near the trough today and then will
weaken slightly on Saturday. South of the trough winds will shift to
moderate to strong westerlies.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Grand Manan, Lurcher, Browns Bank, Georges Bank, southwestern shore,
LaHave Bank, West Scotian Slope and East Scotian Slope.
