At 10:00 a.m. ADT today cold front located over Quebec.
By 3:00 a.m. ADT Thursday cold front located on a line
northeast-southwest over Nova Scotia.
At 3:30 p.m. ADT Thursday departing cold front located southeast
of the Marine District.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 2:40 AM ADT 20 May 2026 A cold front over Quebec with track eastward across the Maritimestoday and tonight to lie southeast of the district by Thursday
afternoon. Strong southwest winds ahead of the front will veer to
strong to gale force northwest winds in its wake, over northern
waters.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Cabot Strait - northern half, Gulf-Magdalen - northeastern half and
Anticosti.
