Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:08 PM AST 6 February 2026 A low pressure system south of West Scotian Slope will intensify asit tracks northeastward passing south of the marine district tonight.
Strong to gale force northeasterly winds will develop over southern
waters this evening, with northeasterlies reaching storm force in the
southern most portions of Laurentian Fan.
Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
Laurentian Fan - southern half. Gale warnings are in effect for East
Scotian Slope, Banquereau - southeastern half, and Laurentian Fan -
northern half.
