Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:25 PM ADT 16 October 2018 An intense low pressure system over Southeastern Labrador will
continue to track northeastward to lie southeast of the Labrador Sea
by overnight tonight. Gale to storm force westerly winds will
gradually diminish tonight in the wake of this system.
On Wednesday, a trough will move over the marine district from the
west. This will give strong to gale force westerlies to southern

Cabot Strait, Gulf - Magdalen, and Anticosti - southern half.
Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining waters except Grand
Manan, Lurcher and Browns Bank.
