northeast-southwest over Laurentian Fan.
At 3:00 a.m. NDT today ridge located on a line north-south over
southern Quebec.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Wednesday ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over Newfoundland.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 2:53 AM NDT 15 September 2026 A trough of low pressure over Newfoundland will continue trackingeastward and depart the marine district this evening. Strong to gale
force south to southwesterlies ahead of the trough will shift to
strong northwesterlies in its wake.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Funk Island Bank and Northern Grand Banks.
