Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:38 AM NST 10 December 2018 A trough of low pressure over Belle Isle Bank will drift slowly
southeastward through the forecast period. Strong to gale force
westerly winds ahead of the trough shift to gale force northerly
winds as the trough passes.

Mariners over the Southern Grand Banks should monitor another low
pressure system that is forecast to rapidly intensify as it tracks
south of the Grand Banks tonight. Latest forecast guidance keeps the
associated gale to storm force winds just south of the Grand Banks
but that could change with even a slight shift northward in the
track.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters.
