Issued 10:00 AM NST 25 January 2021 Today Tonight and Tuesday At 10:00 a.m. NST today low 987 mb located over the West Coastof Newfoundland.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Tuesday trough located on a line east-west over
Banquereau.
At 10:00 a.m. NST today low 980 mb located over the southwestern
Grand Banks.
By 8:00 p.m. NST tonight departing low 982 mb located south of
the Grand Banks.
At 10:00 a.m. NST today departing low 958 mb located east of the
Grand Banks.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:51 AM NST 25 January 2021 A low pressure system over Western Newfoundland will weaken into atrough as it moves to lie south of Newfoundland tonight. Gale force
north to northeasterlies can be expected to the north and west of
this feature.
A second low over Southwestern Grand Banks will track southeastwards
today. Gale force west to southwesterlies can be expected over far
southwestern waters today to the east of the low.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Gulf waters, Belle Isle Bank, Funk Island Bank, and the Southwestern
Grand Banks.
