Issued 8:00 PM NDT 22 September 2021 Tonight and Thursday At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight weakening trough located on a line
east-west over Labrador Sea.

At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over southeastern Labrador.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT Thursday trough located over the East Coast of
Newfoundland extending westward.

At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight quasi-stationary ridge located over
Laurentian Fan.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:55 PM NDT 22 September 2021 A trough of low pressure stretching across the Labrador Sea combined
with a ridge of high pressure to the southeast of Newfoundland will
continue to generate gale force southwesterlies over the Strait of
Belle Isle this evening. Winds will diminish late this evening as the
trough over the Labrador Sea weakens.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle.
