over southern Labrador Coast.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight weakening trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over Belle Isle Bank.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT today ridge located south of the Grand Banks.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Wednesday ridge located on a line
northwest-southeast over Newfoundland.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT today approaching low 1006 mb located southwest
of Nova Scotia.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:51 AM NDT 23 October 2018 A low pressure system is forecast to develop near Cape Cod Wednesday
evening then intensify as it moves northeastward across the Maritimes
on Thursday. Gale force southeasterlies will develop over gulf and
southwestern waters on Thursday as the low approaches.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Northeast Gulf, Gulf - Port au Port and Southwest Coast.
