By 8:00 p.m. NDT Monday low 999 mb located over northeastern
Newfoundland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:55 PM NDT 6 September 2026 A low pressure system over Banquereau will remain nearly stationary
tonight and begin tracking northeastward across Newfoundland on
Monday. Strong to gale force southeasterlies to northeasterlies are
expected to continue across most waters as a result.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Gulf - Port au Port, East Coast - north of Cape St. Francis,
Northeast Coast, Funk Island Bank, and Northern Grand Banks.
