Issued 10:00 AM NDT 4 September 2026 Today Tonight and Saturday At 10:00 a.m. NDT today ridge located on a line northeast-southwest
over the Grand Banks.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Saturday departing ridge located east of the
Marine District.

At 3:30 p.m. NDT today low 1005 mb located over southwestern
Nova Scotia.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Saturday high 996 mb located over Laurentian Fan.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:00 AM NDT 4 September 2026 A developing low pressure system will approach from the west tonight
and move to lie south of Newfoundland by Saturday afternoon. Strong
to gale force southeasterlies to northeasterlies are expected to
develop north and east of the low on Saturday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Southwest Coast, South Coast, East Coast, and the Southern Grand
Banks.
