Issued 3:30 PM NDT 2 April 2020 Tonight and Friday At 3:30 p.m. NDT today quasi-stationary ridge located over
Labrador Coast.

At 3:30 p.m. NDT today low 972 mb located south of Nova Scotia.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Friday low 986 mb located southwest of Nova Scotia.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:22 PM NDT 2 April 2020 An intense low pressure system south of Nova Scotia will move to lie
to the southwest of Nova Scotia Friday morning and will then move on
a southward trajectory for the remainder of the forecast period.
Strong to gale force northeasterly winds are forecast for southern
and western waters tonight and Friday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle - western half, Northeast Gulf, Gulf - Port au
Port, Southwest Coast and Southwestern Grand Banks.
