Issued 10:00 AM NDT 5 July 2020 Today Tonight and Monday At 10:00 a.m. NDT today quasi-stationary ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over Funk Island Bank.

At 10:00 a.m. NDT today low 1008 mb located over the southwestern
Grand Banks.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Monday departing low 1013 mb located southeast
of the Grand Banks.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT Monday tropical depression Five 1011 mb located
southwest of Laurentian Fan.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT Monday departing tropical depression Five 1009
mb located southeast of the Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:55 AM NDT 5 July 2020 At 6:30 A.M. NDT, tropical depression five was located near
Latitude 33.3 north and longitude 64.9 west or about 70 nautical
miles north of Bermuda. Maximum sustained winds were 30 knots and
the central pressure was 1008 MB. The motion was northeast at 17
knots. This system may strengthen to a marginal tropical storm but
is still expected to have minimal impact on Canadian waters as it
passes to the south of the district on Monday. Extreme southern areas
of the Grand Banks may briefly see winds up to 25 or 30 knots on
Monday as it passes.
