Issued 3:00 AM NDT 23 May 2018 Today Tonight and Thursday At 3:00 a.m. NDT today trough located over the Gulf of St. Lawrence.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT today departing trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over Funk Island Bank.

At 3:30 p.m. NDT today deepening low 1004 mb located south of
Nova Scotia.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Thursday low 990 mb located over Funk Island Bank.

By 3:00 a.m. NDT today departing ridge located east of the Grand
Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:58 AM NDT 23 May 2018 A low pressure system developing off the East Coast of the United
States will pass south of Nova Scotia today and cross the Avalon
Peninsula late overnight. It will then pass over the Funk Island Bank
on Thursday. Strong to gale force southeasterlies will develop ahead
of the system and shift to strong to gale force north to
northwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Strait of Belle Isle and Gulf waters.
