At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight deepening low 997 mb located over southern
Quebec.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT Sunday low 986 mb located near Anticosti Island.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 7:51 PM NDT 18 July 2026 A low pressure system over Southern Quebec will deepen as it tracksslowly eastwards to lie over the Gulf of St. Lawrence by Sunday
evening. Strong to gale force south to southeasterlies are expected
to develop over the district ahead of the low on Sunday.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle, Gulf waters, and Southwest Coast.
