east-west over Labrador Sea.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT today trough located over Cabot Strait.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Tuesday trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over the northern Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:56 AM NDT 9 September 2024 A trough of low pressure over the Cabot Strait will sweep across the
district today. Strong to gale force southerlies ahead of this
feature will shift to strong west to southwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
South Coast.
