Marine Weather StatementIssued 7:48 PM NST 22 January 2018 An intense low pressure system southeast of Greenland will remain
nearly stationary. Strong to gale force west to northwesterlies will
gradually diminish overnight into Tuesday as a ridge of high pressure
builds from the southwest.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except the Strait of Belle Isle, Gulf waters, Southwest Coast
and South Coast.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except the Southern Grand Banks.
