Marine Weather Statement
Issued 2:54 AM NDT 29 March 2024 A trough of low pressure over the Gulf of St. Lawrence and anapproaching low from the south of the Maritimes will cause strong to
gale force southeasterlies to develop over western and northern
waters today and tonight.
A second trough of low pressure will approach from the southwest and
will cause gale force southeasterlies to develop over southern waters
on Saturday.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle, Gulf waters, Northeast Coast, Belle Isle Bank,
Funk Island Bank, and Southern Grand Banks.
