Marine Weather Statement
Issued 2:51 AM NDT 23 March 2025 A low pressure system over Belle Isle Bank tonight will move into theLabrador Sea today. Moderate to strong southerlies ahead of the low
will increase to strong to gale force west to southwesterlies in its
wake. Winds will diminish tonight as the tracks northward away from
the marine district.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Strait of Belle Isle and Gulf waters.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Strait of Belle Isle, Gulf waters, Northeast Coast, Belle
Isle Bank, and Funk Island Bank.
