Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:31 PM NST 15 February 2019 A low pressure system east of Funk Island Bank will continue tracking
eastward tonight. Strong to gale force northwesterlies over eastern
waters will diminish this evening as the low moves away.
A trough of low pressure will approach from the west Saturday
morning. Gale force southeasterlies will develop on Saturday over
most waters ahead of the trough. Storm force southeasterlies can be
expected over Gulf - Port au Port.
Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
Gulf - Port au Port. Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining
waters except the Northern Grand Banks.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Northeast Gulf, East Coast, Belle Isle Bank, and Funk
