over the northern Grand Banks.

At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight high located south of the Maritimes.
By 10:00 a.m. NST Saturday departing high located southeast of
the Marine District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 8:26 PM NST 14 December 2018 An approaching trough will cross Newfoundland on Saturday. Strong to
gale force west to southwesterlies ahead of the trough will veer to
strong to gale force west to northwesterlies in its wake late in the
day on Saturday.

Marine interests are advised gale warnings are in effect for the
Grand Banks.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Strait of Belle Isle, Northeast Gulf, Northeast Coast,
Belle Isle Bank, and Funk Island Bank.
