Grand Banks.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Monday departing low 977 mb located south of
Greenland.

At 3:00 a.m. NST Monday approaching low 1005 mb located south of
the Maritimes.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:16 PM NST 23 January 2022 An intense low pressure system over the Northern Grand Banks will
depart to the northeast of the marine district tonight. Strong to
gale force northwesterlies will diminish overnight in its wake.

A second low will approach from the southwest on Monday. Strong to
gale force southeasterlies will develop over southern waters on
Monday ahead of the low.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
East Coast - Cape St. Francis and south, Funk Island Bank, and the
Grand Banks.
