At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight ridge located over western Labrador.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT Tuesday ridge located on a line north-south over
Gulf - Port au Port.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 7:51 PM NDT 10 March 2025 A trough of low pressure east of the marine district will remainnearly stationary throughout the forecast period. Meanwhile a ridge
of high pressure approaching from the west will move to lie over Gulf
waters Tuesday afternoon. Gale force northwesterlies will develop
over Belle Isle Bank between these two features tonight.
Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Belle Isle Bank.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Southwest Coast, South Coast, East Coast, Northeast Coast,
Belle Isle Bank, and Funk Island Bank.
