By 3:00 a.m. NDT Wednesday low 996 mb located over Laurentian Fan.
At 10:00 a.m. NDT today quasi-stationary ridge located over
Labrador Sea.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:51 AM NDT 13 April 2021 A low pressure system over the Southwestern Grand Banks will slowlydrift to lie over the Laurentian Fan tonight and Wednesday.
Meanwhile, a ridge of high pressure will remain nearly stationary
over the Labrador Sea. Strong to gale force east to northeasterly
winds will persist over most waters between these two features today
before diminishing over northern waters on Wednesday.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Belle Isle Bank.
