Marine Weather StatementIssued 2:45 AM NDT 21 March 2019 A trough of low pressure over the Belle Isle Bank will move east of
the marine district this morning. Over northern waters strong to gale
force northwesterlies are forecast behind the trough.
On Friday a low pressure system will approach the Maritimes from the
southwest. Strong to gale force southeasterly winds are forecast to
develop during the day for most waters.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Northeast Coast and Funk Island Bank.
Marine interests are also advised that a freezing spray warning is in
effect for Belle Isle Bank.
