Marine Weather StatementIssued 2:52 AM NST 24 November 2020 A low pressure system over Anticosti Island will track across
Southeastern Labrador today to lie over the East Labrador Sea
Wednesday morning. Gale to storm force south to southeasterlies will
shift to gale to storm force southwesterlies, then gale to hurricane
force northwesterlies tonight. Winds will gradually diminish on
Wednesday as the low departs to the southeast of Greenland and a
ridge of high pressure approaches from the west.
Marine interests are advised that a hurricane force wind warning is
in effect for Belle Isle Bank. Storm warnings are in effect for all
