Wind southeast 10 to 15 knots except southeast 20 over western sections. Wind increasing to southeast 25 early this evening and to southeast 35 to 45 late this evening. Wind diminishing to southwest 25 early Thursday morning then increasing to northwest 35 to 45 near noon Thursday.

Rain beginning this evening changing to showers Thursday morning. Fog patches forming overnight and dissipating Thursday morning.

Issued 3:30 PM NDT 14 October 2026 Tonight and Thursday At 3:30 p.m. NDT today deepening low 1004 mb located over Nova
Scotia.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Thursday low 985 mb located over Belle Isle Bank.

At 3:30 p.m. NDT today ridge located over Newfoundland.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Thursday departing ridge located east of the
Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:26 PM NDT 14 October 2026 A low pressure system over Nova Scotia will deepen as it tracks
northeastward to lie over Belle Isle Bank by Thursday afternoon.
Gale to storm force southerlies to southeasterlies will develop ahead
of the low this evening and shift to strong to gale force westerlies
to northwesterlies in its wake late in the day on Thursday.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Funk Island Bank and Northern Grand Banks. Gale warnings are in
effect for all remaining waters except Strait of Belle Isle - western
half.
