Issued 8:00 PM NST 23 January 2018 Tonight and Wednesday At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight ridge located from Labrador to the
Grand Banks.
By 10:00 a.m. NST Wednesday departing ridge located northeast of
the Marine District.

At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight deepening low 995 mb located over western
Maine.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Wednesday low 976 mb located north of Anticosti
Island.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:45 PM NST 23 January 2018 A low pressure system is expected to track through the Gulf of St.
Lawrence on Wednesday. Strong to gale force southeasterlies will
develop tonight ahead of the low and veer to strong to gale force
southwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except the Southeastern Grand Banks.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Belle Isle Bank and Funk Island Bank.
