Issued 3:00 AM NST 21 January 2018 Today Tonight and Monday At 3:00 a.m. NST today low 983 mb located over southwestern Belle
Isle Bank.
By 8:00 p.m. NST tonight quasi-stationary low 974 mb located
northeast of the Marine District.

At 3:00 a.m. NST Monday approaching ridge located west of the
Maritimes.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:55 AM NST 21 January 2018 A low pressure system over Southwestern Belle Isle Bank will move to
lie northeast of the marine district tonight. Strong to gale force
southwesterlies ahead of the low shift to strong to gale force west
to northwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except the Strait of Belle Isle and Gulf waters.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except the Grand Banks.
