Issued 3:30 PM NST 20 February 2018 Tonight and Wednesday At 3:30 p.m. NST today trough located over Funk Island Bank.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Wednesday departing trough located east of the
Marine District.

At 3:30 p.m. NST today ridge located over western Labrador.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Wednesday ridge located on a line
northwest-southeast over the northern Marine District.

By 3:30 p.m. NST Wednesday approaching low located near the Gaspe
Peninsula.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:17 PM NST 20 February 2018 A trough of low pressure over northern waters will move east of the
district tonight. Strong to gale force northwesterlies in its wake
are expected to diminish overnight tonight as a ridge approaches from
the west.

Marine interests are advised a gale warning is in effect for Belle
Isle Bank.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Gulf waters, East Coast - north of Cape St. Francis,
Northeast Coast, Belle Isle Bank, Funk Island Bank and Northern Grand
Banks.
