northeast-southwest over Labrador Sea.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Tuesday departing trough located northeast of
Belle Isle Bank.

At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight low 1011 mb located over Cape Breton
Island.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Tuesday dissipating low located over the northern
Grand Banks.

At 10:00 a.m. NST Tuesday building ridge located on a line east-west
over the Gulf of St. Lawrence.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:56 PM NST 11 December 2017 A trough of low pressure will continue to track southward across the
Labrador Sea tonight then weaken as it moves away on Tuesday.
Gale force westerlies over northern waters will gradually diminish
through the day on Tuesday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle, Belle Isle Bank, and Funk Island Bank.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Strait of Belle Isle, Gulf waters, and Belle Isle Bank.
