Issued 2:56 AM NDT 7 September 2026 A low pressure system over Banquereau will track northeastward acrossNewfoundland today and move to lie over Belle Isle Bank by overnight
tonight. Strong to gale force southeasterlies to northeasterlies
ahead of the low will veer to strong to gale force northwesterlies in
its wake.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle - eastern half, Gulf - Port au Port, Northeast
Coast, Belle Isle Bank, and Funk Island Bank.
