Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:27 PM NST 6 December 2024 A low pressure system near Lake Melville will track northeastward tolie over the Labrador Sea by Saturday morning. Gale to storm force
south to southwesterlies will diminish to strong to gale force
tonight in the wake of the low.
Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle, Belle Isle Bank, Funk Island Bank, Northern
Grand Banks, and Southeastern Grand Banks. Gale warnings are in
effect for all remaining waters.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Strait of Belle Isle and Gulf waters.
