Issued 3:00 AM NDT 20 October 2021 Today Tonight and Thursday At 3:00 a.m. NDT today deepening low 999 mb located over the
southwestern Grand Banks.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Thursday low 986 mb located over northern Funk
Island Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:50 AM NDT 20 October 2021 A low pressure system over Southwestern Grand Banks will move to lie
over Funk Island Bank this evening where it will remain nearly
stationary through most of the day on Thursday. Strong to gale force
southwesterlies can be expected to the south of the low's track
today. Northerly gales will develop ahead of the low tonight before
shifting to northwesterly gales in its wake on Thursday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle - eastern half, East Coast, Northeast Coast,
Belle Isle Bank, Funk Island Bank, Northern Grand Banks, and
Southeastern Grand Banks.
