Issued 3:30 PM NST 21 January 2025 Tonight and Wednesday At 3:30 p.m. NST today low 954 mb located east of Labrador Sea.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Wednesday low 960 mb located north of Labrador Sea.

At 10:00 a.m. NST Wednesday approaching low 1009 mb located south
of Nova Scotia.

At 3:30 p.m. NST today building ridge located south of the
Maritimes.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Wednesday ridge located from the East Coast of
Newfoundland to the Maritimes.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:26 PM NST 21 January 2025 An intense low pressure system north of the Labrador Sea will
continue to track northward overnight. Strong to gale force
westerlies will begin to diminish as the low moves away.

A second low will pass south of the marine district on Wednesday.
Strong to gale force northerly winds are expected over southern
waters late in the day on Wednesday in the wake of the low.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except the Southern Grand Banks.
