By 8:00 p.m. NST Sunday departing ridge located southeast of the
Grand Banks.

At 3:00 a.m. NST Sunday approaching low 1003 mb located over
Labrador Coast.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:58 PM NST 2 March 2024 A low pressure system will approach the marine district from the
northwest on Sunday while a ridge of high pressure passes south of
the marine district. Strong to gale force northwesterly winds will
develop over northern waters Sunday evening between these two
features.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Belle Isle Bank.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Strait of Belle Isle, Northeast Gulf, Belle Isle Bank, and
Funk Island Bank.
