At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight departing ridge located east of the
Grand Banks.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 7:52 PM NDT 9 October 2024 A trough of low pressure over Southwestern Newfoundland will slowconsiderably as it approaches eastern waters overnight and Thursday.
Strong to gale force southeasterlies will continue to spread across
the district ahead of the trough.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Belle Isle Bank, Funk Island Bank, Northern Grand Banks, and
Southeastern Grand Banks.
