Issued 3:00 AM NDT 24 May 2018 Today Tonight and Friday At 3:00 a.m. NDT today deepening low 996 mb located southwest of
the Avalon Peninsula.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Friday low 992 mb located northeast of Belle
Isle Bank.

At 3:30 p.m. NDT today ridge located over the Maritimes.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Friday ridge located east of Newfoundland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:53 AM NDT 24 May 2018 A low pressure system southwest of the Avalon Peninsula will move
northeastward and cross the Funk Island Bank today. Strong to gale
force southeasterlies will shift to strong to gale force north to
northwesterlies in its wake. Winds will diminish this evening or
overnight as the low pulls away.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Strait of Belle Isle, Gulf waters, and the Southwestern
Grand Banks.
