At 3:00 a.m. NDT today trough from 998 mb low located over western
Labrador.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Thursday trough from 993 mb low located on a line
northeast-southwest over Newfoundland.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT today ridge located on a line east-west over the
southern Grand Banks.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight departing ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over the southeastern Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:57 AM NDT 15 August 2018 A trough extending from a low over Western Labrador will approach the
marine district this evening. Strong to gale force northeasterlies
will develop overnight in its wake over western waters.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Northeast Gulf and Gulf - Port au Port.
