At 10:00 a.m. NDT today trough from 1001 mb low located on a line
east-west over southern Newfoundland.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Sunday trough from 1001 mb low located east of
the Marine District.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT Sunday approaching ridge located over the
Maritimes.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:50 AM NDT 26 May 2018 A low pressure system over Eastern Nova Scotia will track eastward
across the district today and tonight, then intensify as it moves
away to the east on Sunday. Gale force northwesterlies will develop
over eastern waters Sunday morning in the wake of the low.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Funk Island Bank and Northern Grand Banks.
