Issued 3:00 AM NDT 19 October 2018 Today Tonight and Saturday At 3:00 a.m. NDT today low 984 mb located over Funk Island Bank.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT today departing low 986 mb located east of the
Marine District.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT today ridge located over New England.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Saturday ridge located over the Grand Banks.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT Saturday approaching low 982 mb located over
Quebec.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:53 AM NDT 19 October 2018 A low pressure system over the Funk Island Bank bringing strong to
gale force northeasterlies over northern waters and strong to gale
force west to northwesterlies elsewhere will depart out to sea today.
Winds will gradually diminish as the low moves away.

Another developing low approaching from the west will track across
Quebec on Saturday. Strong to gale force southerlies will spread
across the district ahead of this feature.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Strait of Belle Isle.
