over the Grand Banks.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Saturday ridge located southeast of the Marine
District.

At 10:00 a.m. NST today low located over western Labrador.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Saturday trough located on a line
northwest-southeast over Belle Isle Bank.

At 3:30 p.m. NST today building ridge located over Quebec.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Saturday ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over Labrador.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:53 AM NST 1 December 2023 A low pressure system located over Western Labrador will track
eastward to lie over the Belle Isle Bank tonight. Strong
southeasterlies will develop ahead of the low then increase to strong
to gale force southwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Funk Island Bank and Northern Grand Banks.
