Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 10:00 AM NDT 18 October 2018 Today Tonight and Friday At 10:00 a.m. NDT today departing ridge located on a line
northwest-southeast over Belle Isle Bank.

At 10:00 a.m. NDT today trough located over the Gulf of
St. Lawrence.
By 10:00 a.m. NDT Friday low 984 mb located over Funk Island Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:35 AM NDT 18 October 2018 A low will form in a trough of low pressure currently over the Gulf
of St. Lawrence later today. The low will move to lie over the
Northeast Coast Friday morning before crossing Funk Island Bank and
moving out to sea later on Friday. Strong to gale force
northeasterlies are expected to develop north of the low while strong
to gale force southwesterlies are expected to its south. Winds will
diminish to moderate to strong westerlies as the low departs on
Friday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters.
