By 3:00 a.m. NST Tuesday low 978 mb located east of Funk Island
Bank.

Issued 2:44 AM NST 9 February 2026 A trough of low pressure over the Funk Island Bank will continue tomove southward to lie over the East Coast of Newfoundland today.
Strong to gale force northeasterlies will develop to the north of the
trough.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle and Belle Isle Bank.
