Marine Weather StatementIssued 7:49 PM NST 11 November 2019 A trough of low pressure over the East Coast of Newfoundland will
move east of the marine district by Tuesday morning. Strong to gale
force southerlies ahead of the trough will shift to strong to gale
force westerlies over most waters in its wake.
A second low will approach from the southwest on Tuesday. Strong to
gale force easterly to southerly winds will develop over southwestern
waters Tuesday afternoon ahead of the low.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Strait of Belle Isle and the Grand Banks.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Strait of Belle Isle and Belle Isle Bank.
