At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over the Maritimes.
By 8:00 p.m. NST Sunday ridge located from the Grand Banks to
Labrador Coast.
At 8:00 p.m. NST Sunday approaching low 998 mb located south of
Nova Scotia.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 2:54 AM NST 13 December 2025 An intense low pressure system southeast of the Labrador Sea willremain nearly stationary today before tracking eastward this evening
to lie southeast of Greenland by Sunday morning. Strong to gale force
southwest to northwesterlies will gradually diminish from west to
east throughout the forecast period as the low slowly pulls away.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Gulf waters.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Northeast Coast and Belle Isle Bank.
