At 3:00 a.m. NST Sunday trough located on a line northeast-southwest
over southern Labrador Sea.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Sunday trough located on a line northeast-southwest
over Belle Isle Bank.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 7:51 PM NST 7 December 2019 A low pressure system just east of St. John's at forecast time willmove out to sea tonight. Strong to gale force southerlies over the
Grand Banks will diminish to strong westerlies in the wake of the low
tonight.
An intensifying trough of low pressure will approach the marine
district from the Labrador Sea Sunday afternoon. Strong to gale force
northwesterlies will develop over northern waters late in the day on
Sunday.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Belle Isle Bank and the Grand Banks.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for the Strait of Belle Isle, Northeast Gulf, Gulf - Port au
Port, Northeast Coast, and Belle Isle Bank.
