By 3:00 a.m. NDT Saturday departing low 1012 mb located southeast
of the Grand Banks.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT today quasi-stationary ridge located on a line
east-west over the northern Grand Banks.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT today trough located over central Labrador.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight trough located over southern Labrador.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:50 AM NDT 10 July 2020 At 3 A.M. NDT tropical storm Fay was located near latitude 36.7
North and longitude 74.7 west, about 60 nautical miles or 100
kilometers northeast of Cape Hatteras. Maximum sustained winds were
40 knots and the central pressure was 1005 MB. The motion was north
at 7 knots. Slight strengthening of Fay is expected today
As it moves along the mid-Atlantic coast of the United States,
afterwards it will weaken quickly as it moves inland over Southern
New England tonight into Saturday.
