Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:20 PM NST 21 January 2019 An intense area of low pressure over the Northern Gulf of St.
Lawrence will very slowly track northeastward to lie over the Belle
Isle Bank by Tuesday morning. An associated trough will track
eastward across the marine district tonight. Gale force southerlies
ahead of the trough will diminish to strong westerlies behind it,
with strong to gale force northeasterlies persisting north of the
