By 8:00 p.m. NST Tuesday low 955 mb located north of Labrador Sea.
At 3:30 p.m. NST Tuesday building ridge located south of the
Maritimes.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 7:47 PM NST 20 January 2025 An intense low pressure system over the South Labrador Coast willmove northward this evening to lie north of Labrador Sea on Tuesday
evening. Gale force south to southeasterlies east of the low will
shift to gale to storm force southwest to northwesterlies in its
wake.
Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
Belle Isle Bank. Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining
waters.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except the Southern Grand Banks.
