Issued 10:00 AM NDT 10 April 2025 Today Tonight and Friday At 10:00 a.m. NDT today trough located from Labrador to the Gaspe
Peninsula.
By 10:00 a.m. NDT Friday departing trough located east of Belle
Isle Bank.

At 10:00 a.m. NDT today ridge located south of the Grand Banks.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight quasi-stationary ridge located over the
southern Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:52 AM NDT 10 April 2025 A developing trough of low pressure from Labrador to the Gaspé
Peninsula will approach today and track across northern waters
tonight. Strong to gale force southwesterly winds over western and
northern waters ahead of the trough will veer to strong to gale force
westerlies in its wake then diminish as the trough departs.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle, Northeast Gulf, Northeast Coast, Belle Isle
Bank, and Funk Island Bank.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Strait of Belle Isle and Belle Isle Bank.
