Issued 3:30 PM NST 11 December 2025 Tonight and Friday At 3:30 p.m. NST today deepening low 979 mb located near Anticosti
Island.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Friday low 965 mb located northeast of Belle
Isle Bank.

At 3:00 a.m. NST Friday trough from low located on a line east-west
over the Quebec Lower North Shore.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Friday trough from low located over southeastern
Labrador.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:26 PM NST 11 December 2025 A deepening low pressure system will approach the district from the
west, tracking across Gulf waters this evening. A trailing trough
will follow behind the low, crossing Newfoundland Friday night.
Strong to gale force northeasterlies north of the low and strong to
gale force southwesterlies south of the low will diminish tonight for
a period before increasing again to strong to gale force
southwesterlies ahead of the trough.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Strait of Belle Isle and Gulf - Port au Port.
